SEO Tip Number 1

My first SEO tip will be very short as I need to get some sleep maybe 3 hours to re-energize myself for an 8-hour work today.

If you heard about keyword optimization, it may or may not be the focus of our discussion for the rest of the week as you all know each day, new SEO tips can be discovered online made available by the most renown SEO gurus.However, my first SEO tip is relevant to keyword on-page optimization.

Today, I will share the very basic but the most neglected seo tip in keyword optimization which is using your keyword on every part of your site page from the URL to meta tags to the contents. If you were able to notice, the url of this site has the keywords “seokeywordtips” (it would be better if you put a dash between words). I used the google keyword tool to determine which keywords should I use to optimize this site. My initial thought was to use “SEO tips” keyword only but since this keyword has a high competition it may take time for me to rank in the search engine, so I decided to include the keyword, “SEO keyword” as it will have a better chance of getting into the SERPS due to a lower number of sites competing for it. Google’s preference and ranking boost given to a keyword exact match URL is a very powerful tool to use for SEO.

Keywords in your meta tags are important as well though there are speculations that the search engines no longer or have decided to exclude the keyword and description tags from their algorithm as SEO specialists handling sites spammed these tags with keywords. However, description tags still useful in terms of clickthroughs when your site is already ranking as this will be your tool to compel searchers to visit your site.  The most important meta tags is the title tags, title tags, and the title tags! Your title tag should not be more than 55 characters in length. And you should place the most important keywords on the beginning. In this site case, the title tags used are “SEO Tips / SEO Keywords. (note: the title tags is placed on the most upper left of the browser)

Finally, keywords in your content should not be missed out. Whether the notion that the search enginges have given no or little attention to keyword density is true or not, keyword placements in your content are still of premium importance. Your writing though using your keywords must be very natural.
